Harbour side pop-up cafe to be launched.
A pop up café is to be launched at Annan Harbour to attract local people to the Harbour area.
The van/stall will sell a simple selection of high-quality teas and coffees and simple snacks, ideally local home baking. This will not only create a gathering space, but will also raise awareness of what is happing on the site to keep it to the fore-front of the community’s imagination. It should also start to generate a small amount of surplus income that can be re-invested into the core costs of Annan Harbour Action Group.
In the pleasant weather, it is possible to arrange for music and other attractions to be available when the van is open, e.g. Folk on a Sunday.
It is hoped the plans for the cafe will be finalised and purchased over this winter, with a view to launching in the Spring of 2022.
