Rowing on the River Annan & beyond …
Coastal rowing is one of the fastest growing and accessible sports around Scotland and is beginning to be established elsewhere across the world. As a community-focused organisation, AHRC encourages people of all ages and abilities to take part in weekly rowing sessions, mostly from Annan Harbour.
A great way to exercise, enjoy the company of others and experience being out on the water, rowing is an activity that delivers both physical and well-being benefits. Rowing on local lochs, opportunities to attend regattas around the coast and participation in events organised by AHCRC are all part of the membership
Join in the rowing fun!
Come along and enjoy a trip along the River Annan or experience the thrill of rowing out onto the Solway.
Presently membership fees are taken annually at £25 per person, and a nominal £3 contribution per rower is requested each time you row.
Life jackets can be provided, until you feel you want to purchase your own. Suitable outdoor clothing for the season and wellie boots are all you need.
