Annan Harbour Festival promises a day of fun for all ages this Saturday!
This Saturday, 21st September, Annan Harbour will come alive from 10 AM to 4 PM for the annual Annan Harbour Festival, with a full day of exciting activities, stalls, and entertainment for all ages.
With over 40 stalls, visitors can explore the best of local producers, crafters, environmental initiatives, and community partners. The festival will showcase a wide range of goods and services, making it the perfect place to support local businesses and discover new products.
Throughout the day, there will be:
- Live music from Annan Town Band, The Solway Pipers, and Paragon, with a unique opportunity for festival goers to join in an inclusive jamming session with Paragon musicians – no experience necessary.
- For the food enthusiasts, there will be a cooking demonstration, offering some tasty insights and tips.
- A hands-on bat boxes workshop will take place during the day, followed by an exciting bat walk in the evening, giving visitors a chance to learn about and contribute to local wildlife conservation efforts.
- For younger visitors, there will be a bouncy castle and face painting to keep them entertained throughout the day.
- For the more adventurous, there will be power boat rides and opportunities to try rowing on the harbour.
- Plus, if all goes as planned, the thrilling ship La Malouine may sail into the harbour once again!
This year’s Annan Harbour Festival promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire community, so don’t miss out!
